Man, this is the best stuff ever!!! If you have not tried it you have to.
Wick less candles and man this wax is the best of the best. After hours it still smells nice.
NO smoke and wick smell after blowing the candle out, no flame and it is safe with kids around.
My consultant is amazing, and is always looking for ways to make me a deal. The sentcy sells its self because it is amazing but having a good consultant helps too.

Please Mom please....
So every year we wrap all the gifts and put the under the tree as we buy them EXCEPT the ONE from Santa. BUT this year Matthew is older so he is FULLY aware of what is happening this year.
Every day he jumps out of bed and yells "Now How many days til Christmas"
It is soooo cute, BUT i have been trying super hard to teach him what Christmas really means. It is NOT just about presents.
Every day he Begs me to open a present. Every day every other minute of every day all day.....
We have given in and let him open about three gifts and a couple stocking stuffers... he still has stuff in his stocking and he still has 11 gifts under the tree, do you think i went over board?
Any way a week until Christmas lets see if w can make it to Christmas eve with out opening anymore...

Decisions as a Parent
After this week I have come to realize that the decisions I make in a slit second, make an impact in one smart handsom little man very quickly.
If you read the last post you know we have had a rough week and on Monday I took away Matthews Privileges, and told him that IF he was good at school on Wednesday he could have them all back, Then he wasn't good at school on Wednesday so I thought well he is not getting anything back right???
Wrong!
After long blogging and long night thinking and a Meeting with the principal this morning, No he is NOT loosing his stuff for acting up in school. NOW let me make myself clear if he is rude or hurtful or disobedient then YES there is NEVER an excuse for those behaviors, But being silly and squeaking like a mouse and hiding under the table, he is trying to tell me something and if she is separating him from the class at a table by himself he should not feel that feeling at home. So I am NOT going to make him feel punished in his own home for that....WE have talked a lot about it, and i will continue to talk to him, and remind him of what is expected of him, BUT this is his first time ever in a school structured environment and he is FOUR, he will learn when he is ready.
Christina, You are right it should be 4 minutes since he is 4, but from what I understand it was longer then that and I assure you she wont do that again, not like that anyway, and thanks so much for always being encouraging, you are great. And Jessica you are awesome for always making me feel like I am not messing up, I love you and wish you were closer. Sorry I don't know how to respond to comments when you both comment so I did it this way, cause I know you read my blog, and thank you for that!!! Love ya both lots!!!
I learned today at the Principals office that he is super smart and all his academic work is AMAZING and he is doing just fine in that aspect, so I am not going to worry any more, he will learn how to act in groups eventually and as a single child there is not much I can do to help him with that at home, The teacher will have to..... Oh I don't know.....TEACH him that when they are in the class room with other kids.
My little guy is trying very hard and he was pretty overwhelmed when he started school, maybe this is his little way of dealing with his stress, so what ever works for him right now is all that is important to me.
Bless his little heart!

Being a Mom
Being a mom, I mean a REAL mom, is the hardest job ever, and I am struggling.
Matthew is everything to me, and I think I am a good Mom and then I see him struggling, and being overwhelmed and I feel like a failure.
We have had a bad week, and I cant shake this mood I am in, I just want to cry, oh wait I have been!
When you are a Dad and you have a kid anytime something happens the DAD jumps to blame someone else....it cant be my kid... No way, it has to be someone Else's fault that there is a problem.
BUT as a MOM, I reflect on everything and EXAMINE ME FIRST, before blaming anyone else.
Did I read to him enough, did i spend enough time with him, did I help him when he needed help, did I listen when he was telling me something, what did I do or not do to cause him to struggle.
Matthew is doing GREAT in his school work, BUT behavior wise we are having issues. He pushed a 1st grader, he threw rocks up the slide, he layed on the floor queeking when he was supposed to be getting instructions on what to do, and today he just wanted to be silly and not listen, the teacher moved him to another table and he DID all his work so I know he can do it and I know he is smart, so what is wrong all of the sudden??? Why the acting out?
How do I fix it? How do I help him? What did I do or not do to make this all happen? What id he trying to tell me? Why is he acting up like this? I know I am missing something! WHAT IS IT????
He is a good boy and super smart, why JUST THIS WEEK is he acting out in school.
Thousands of things go thru my head, Maybe it IS my fault because we put up the Christmas tree and I wrapped all his gifts but wont let him open them, that is when this all started, MONDAY morning, he saw all his presents, is this just torturing him to see them and not be able to open them? Did I put the tree and gifts all out too soon?
Is he still overwhelmed at school and this is his way of dealing with stress at the age of 4? Should a 4 year old have stress?
The fact that the teacher put him over at a table all by himself honestly JUST MAKES ME MAD!!!!! And breaks my heart that to think of him over by himself....... WTH??? If he is having behavioral problems when it comes to interacting with other kids, HOW IS SEPARATING HIM going to help????? My poor little man all by himself, that's not what she is paid to do, is she just tired of him? If so that's a problem in my book, TUITION is NOT cheep and she is not paid to just separate him, During that time that he is with HER and not ME she is paid to ohhh I DON'T KNOW......TEACH HIM!!!! Not put him off by himself
I am still so very proud of him, all his work comes home so good and he is so smart he is writing his name and can read it too and knows all the letters and number by looking at them. He seams to be doing good when it comes to the work, just not the interacting with other kids, He is an only child how can I help with that at home???
I say it again I am still so super proud of him, and when she told me all that stuff I got upset and grounded him and took stuff away from him, then I thought.......I AM HORRIBLE!!!! What am I doing??? I don't know WHY the acting up is happening, it is NOT like him, He needs to know that his Mom is here for him and supportive and will work with him no matter what the problem. UGGGGGG
I feel so HELPLESS, he is old enough to tell me his needs, but not really old enough to tell me whats happening inside......what he is feeling....what is wrong....I am gonna make an appointment with the principal tomorrow, cause I just cant stomach the thought of him being separated from the class instead of being taught how to interact, IT IS PRESCHOOL, that's what is supposed to be learned there....THE BASICS!!
I hate this feeling, and I don't know how to fix it!!! Is he too little??? DO I pull him from school for the year and try again for kindergarten, or keep trying???? UGGGGGG

Thanksgiving
Well, that all went fine this year, I hosted, so I did all the cooking, and baking, and cleaning. I had my family over, and it all went well, which means no fighting and no one went to the hospital.
BUT
In my family it isn't a holiday with out the cops being called. Luckily this year it was not because someone got in a fight or shoved someones head thru a wall or thru a cup at someone or what ever fight was happening, this year was different....
This year as it was all wrapping up and the family is leaving to head home, My brother and his oldest son take stuff out to the car, and his wife follows behind, we all hug and say our good bye's and My bother Buckles his 18 month old in the car seat and........................SHUTS THE DOOR.
Then in that second of shutting the door and going to reach for the door handle he realized that the doors were locked and he dropped his keys NEXT TO THE CAR seat.
Yep you got it, he locked the keys in the car with an 18 month old scared baby girl inside.
Madee, did fine at first, I called the cops, he said he was sending an officer that could help get the car unlocked. They usually do not send a police officer to jimmy a lock but since there was a child in the car and IT WAS 22 DEGREES out side, that could be life threatening.
The cop spent about 30 minutes trying to get the car unlocked, but since it is so new there was no way he was going to get it, My brother had taken my car to his house to see if he could find the other set of keys the whole time this cop was trying to get the car opened.
After 30 minutes and with Madee SCREAMING her head off to where she was going to hyperventilate and pass out we made a command decision that the window was going to get broke in order to get the baby out.
So in looking at the vehicle you always wanna break the cheapest window so we had picked with one we wanted. The Cop said he would share a trade secret with us....LOL I had no clue.....
HE ASKED FOR A SPARK PLUG....
Really, why do you need a spark plug??? I soon found out what he was gonna do.
I handed him the new spark plug out of Matthew's 4Wheeler and the cop took it and BROKE IT! WTH???? LOL
Then he made a fist with the broken spark plug in his hand and TAPPED the window.....It QUIETLY SHATTERED into billions of pieces.
A spark plug????
Porcelain is harder then glass, and people use that to break into cars without being heard, I did not know that.
Anyway Baby was out and other then being really really scared and shook up she was just fine.
There is another Thanksgiving for the books......
